Our Historically Black Colleges and Universities(HBCU) have produced some of the greatest human beings to ever grace this earth! Wikipedia says this about HBCUs: Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are institutions of higher education in the United States that were established before 1964 with the intention of primarily serving the African American community! They have always allowed admission of students of all races!
Men like the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and women like Dr. Mary Mcleod Bethune. Knoxville College has produced it's share of outstanding people. Men like Jake Gaither, legendary Coach of Florida A & M Universities football teams. A man who won 85% of his games. Women like Dr. Edith Irby Jones, first female President of the National Medical Association!
Here are a few fact about Historically Black Colleges and Universities(HBCU)! HBCU's enroll only 20% of undergraduate students, they award over 40% of all four year degrees! Purchasing a shirt from this site will contribute between $2-5 to Knoxville Colleges National Alumni and or to a local chapter and or to another worthy Knoxville College cause!
